Malcolm X.

Malcolm Little was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 19, 1925. He was a Black Nationalist leader and a spokesman for the Nation of Islam during the 50s and 60s. When Malcolm was released from prison in 1952 he grew the number of followers of The Nation of Islam from 400 to 40.000 by 1960. Malcolm X took a different approach then Martin Luther King and wanted black people to cast off the shackles of racism “by any means necessary” including violence. But what he did have in common with Martin Luther King is that he was also assassinated, on the February 21st 1965 at the Audubon Ballroom in Manhattan where he had been preparing to deliver a speech.
